Angry sad. Tired

Some sadness, because I’m reliving the day of the accident as I have answered other questions in this group. Some pride, as I’ve come a long way in the past 2 &1/2 years to be able to talk like this without giving up because it was too hard. Lots of love for my son, and for my God that has carried me thru to this point in my life.

I feel angry at all the bullies that hurt her, angry at her for quitting on me, angry at the 600+ people who showed up at her services, where were they when she needed love and acceptance? I feel helpless to help her brother and sister grieve. I feel empowered to help other children who are going through what Erica went through.

Exhaustion, sadness, lonliness…seems like these 3 travel together all the time.

Interesting how many of us feel loneliness for our child. So many of us feel so much yearning. Those emotions go hand in hand in my mind. Many would not understand this…even those I have met who are psychologists. Fortunately for them, they have not walked in our shoes.

Feeling glad to be back to what will now be my new normal. Miss mommy, will always have questions, but moving forward one day at a time.
