Resource of the Week
guiding your journey to hope, strength, and purpose
I am a daughter of God, wife, mother, coach, author, speaker, and photographer. For the past eight years, I have been learning about this amazingly complicated role called Mother. Tiny humans can teach you so much. My husband and I have six children, one which was called to take her place alongside Jesus in Heaven a little over two years ago. Our youngest daughter was diagnosed with Trisomy 18 which is considered incompatible with life. She passed away shortly before her first birthday, however; we were so very blessed to have her with us for a short time.
The experience of losing a child is not something I would wish on anyone. While I’m thankful for each moment we shared, and grateful to have been given the chance to know such a precious being, I am fully aware of the heartache that comes with burying your child. Our daughter’s life and death had purpose, and it is what compels me to be a better human being. I am called to help people through the grieving process by placing their faith in God, and regaining identity and purpose for their lives.
